Unfortunately, there are too many variants with regards to the distance from our take-off airfield, the time of the recording, as well as the number of possible further customer orders on the flight. Generally, we recommend that we fly for you between the months of May and September, when nature is at its most beautiful and the sun is high enough. Our flights only take place in suitable weather, as free as possible from clouds and haze, which could impair the picture.
Please also consider how much coverage you would like to be photographed around the object itself and from which direction and inclination you would like to have it photographed. Aerial photographs taken at an angle of 140°, with the sun's position as the center, are best.
Photographs taken from north to south or against the sun are problematic, as you can only capture shaded surfaces. The exception to this rule is when the sky is completely overcast and all surfaces are evenly illuminated.
The angle of a shot is also vital for creating the desired image. Objects photographed from an obtuse angle (possibly with a horizon) often appear more pleasing than those taken from a steep angle where roof tops are usually all that you can see. For such a shot, we would recommend the use of our professional, high-resolution drone (20 megapixels). We also recommend the drone for smaller objects such as private houses. The object will appear more prominently in the foreground and the horizon will be recognizable. Samples of drone photography can be found here.
You will receive the photos as digital image data on a CD or DVD (resolution normally 45 megapixels, JPEG format). For urgent orders (press, close printing date) we can also send individual images by e-mail.
